Established in 1988, Advanced Pneumatic Technology Limited (A.P.T.) is
the leading supplier of Pneumatic Conveyor systems in Ireland. The Company
operates manufacturing, installation and service divisions. The installation
and service departments are divided to serve three key areas:
• Hospitals and Healthcare
• Industry and Commercial
• Retail and Cash Security
In the hospital and healthcare sector our first system was installed
in Louth Hospital, Dundalk in 1988. The system
was of tremendous benefit to the hospital, speedily transporting specimens
to the Laboratory for analysis and
returning reports to the hospital wards.
The original system was upgraded to the AC 1000 automatic despatch system
in 1997, serving most areas of the hospital through eleven stations, including
Pharmacy.
The quality of the products and services provided by A.P.T. has helped reduce
the TTAT (Total Turn-Around Time) for patients in hospitals and has provided
significant savings in delivering health services in Ireland.
In 1995 A.P.T. designed and manufactured a new style of control system for
the pneumatic conveyors, Safe-linK
This revolutionary approach soon made systems available to all retailers
and enhanced security whilst providing peace of mind. As the Company grew
from strength to strength we were successful in achieving 1st Place in the
Meath Enterprise Awards and 4th. place in the All-Ireland Enterprise Awards.
One year later, 1999, the Ulster Bank/ Irish Independent Increase in Business
Award was presented to us for our prudent management of the excellent growth
in our business.
The acquisition of Aerocom (UK) Ltd is a major benefit to our group and
has improved our buying power as the leading supplier of pneumatic conveyor
systems in Ireland and the UK. aerocom products meet and exceed all specifications
for use in the healthcare sector. A.P.T. is now the leading supplier of
pneumatic conveyor systems in Ireland, including Naas General Hospital,
Longford Westmeath Hospital, University College Hospital Galway, Mater
Private and Letterkenny General Hospital.
The quality of the service provided by A.P.T. to all our customers is
a testimony to the dedication of our highly trained staff who appreciate
the importance of our customers to the Company.
